The Patriots continued their focus all the way through their final pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.
New England selected Florida State tight end Jaheim Bell in the seventh round, using the 231st overall pick. While Bell was a standout for the Seminoles this past season, he transferred into the program from South Carolina ahead of the 2023 season.
Bell was also the seventh offensive player the Patriots selected in the draft, using all but one of their eight picks on that side of the ball. After the Pariots selected two wide receivers in the first four rounds of the draft, Bell was the first tight end they picked up over the weekend.
